Missions

Grace Bible Church’s Missions Ministry exists to:

1. Be obedient to the command of Matt. 28:19-20 by sending workers into the harvest field, that people would hear the gospel & come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, and teaching them to obey all that he has commanded us.
   1. To do this by supporting missionaries who are like-minded in the essential points of doctrine with Grace Bible Church.
   2. To do this also by sending the most qualified workers from this body to minister the gospel to people in other countries who do not have a consistent biblical witness for Jesus Christ.
   3. With regards to 1 & 2; the missions committee believes that the elders’ direction and goal is to make church planting and preaching the priority in determining who and what ministries to support.
   4. The elders and the missions committee believe that the primary responsibility of oversight for missionaries lies with the elders of the local sending church.

For the missions committee in particular:

2. To facilitate and organize support for, and communication with missionaries on the field.
3. To encourage the general membership of the church to support and pray for the missionaries on the field.
