Men’s Ministry

Our ministry consists of getting together for breakfast on the 3rd Saturday of the even-numbered months, i.e. Feb, Apr, June, Aug, Oct (excluding Dec). We meet in different homes for about 2 hours to enjoy a good breakfast & fellowship, followed by a prepared message….or sometimes we read Psalms to one another.

We share our joys and burdens, and spend time praying together for our families, & the Church, and praising God for all His mercies, and especially for His great gift of love to us in the Lord Jesus Christ. We also schedule 2 campouts per year- Spring & Fall - either in the local desert or mountains (no camping experience is necessary, and equipment is available if needed).

Our evening is filled with great food (everything tastes better outdoors!), great fellowship, and singing to the Lord around a warm campfire until late. Sometimes, we’re treated to seeing the glories of God through Dann McCreary’s 12″ reflecting telescope. The next morning, after a light breakfast, we worship the Lord again through a prepared message, singing and prayer. Later, there is free time to hike, throw a frisbee, or to be alone with a brother or with the Lord.

Men bring your sons - sons bring your dads - bring another brother (or 2!). Our goal is simply to glorify God by loving one another.
