The Attributes of God: God’s Power

Most people will agree in general that God is omnipotent (all-powerful). It is when we get more particular that questions and differences arise.

Is God so powerful that He can created a rock He can’t lift? If not, why not? Does God control calamities and evil events? If so, how can He be good? Does God control who is saved and lost? If so, how can He be fair? Which of all God’s works most gloriously displays His power? How does God’s power bring us joy and comfort?
