Death, Judgment and Salvation
Hebrews 9:27-28: This week we are focusing on only two verses in Hebrews. These verses show the parallel between Christ’s experience of death, which will be followed by His second coming, with our experience of death which will be followed by judgment (for all) and salvation (for His people). By implication this text refutes other worldviews concerning the afterlife including reincarnation, naturalism (which says that when the body dies one’s existence ends), and those who think people get a second chance for salvation after death.
